Do you have wildlife records that you are willing to share with BIS?
We are happy to receive wildlife records in any format - but preferably in some sort of structured data format such as Excel.
In our library you can find a blank spreadsheet that the needed fields defined within it - click here to access it.
If you have such data please get in touch with us via our contact page.
Would you like to start recording wildlife?
We encourage all recorders to submit their records to us electronically via our online Wildlife Recording Database - WiReD.
The primary purpose of the BIS Wildife Recording Database is to make it easier for wildlife sightings to be collated, checked by experts and made available to those that need them for their research or decision making.
By registering with us you will be able to share your sightings with the recording community, explore dynamic maps and graphs of your data and make a real contribution to science and conservation.
Follow the link below to access the system where you can register and get started immediately.
